As
parts flatten from wear, oil is squeezed out and parts stick
together, eventually causing a hydroplaning effect. Accuracy
is lost due to improper lubrication.
Our
scraper applies thin coats of marking compounds to both
surfaces. Bearing points are identified by sliding the
surfaces against each other and examining points left in the
compound. After determining the location and number of high
points required, he meticulously hand scrapes the surfaces.
Parts are mated to precision, with thousands of grooves established
to ensure proper lubrication.
