In
1889, A.B. Landis was issued Patent 409,208 for his self-opening,
tangential thread cutting die head. Mr. Landis started
Landis Machine on December 10, 1903, concentrating on threading equipment for high volume
manufacturing. Since 1903 Landis has
been setting global standards for excellence in high volume thread
cutting and thread rolling applications.
In 2013, ATI
Stellram acquired Greenfield Industries' assembled threading tool
lines, including Geometric,
H&G, Vers-O-Tool, &
Acme-Fette brands,
complementing its own line of Landis Threading Systems with an
expanded range of die heads for thread rolling & cutting,
thread-chasing tools & adjustable internal threading taps.
ATI Stellram sold Landis
Threading Systems, & the company is now privately owned as Landis
Solutions, LLC.

Stationary Die Heads
- Landis® Stationary Die Heads include F & A Landmatic and
5DE Landmatic models. All three are designed for applications
where the part rotates and the threading tool is stationary.

line of Landis® Revolving Die Heads includes five different
types, each designed for a particular threading application.

 Standard & Non-Stock Chasers
- Landis® has a wealth of experience in designing, making and
customizing tangential chasers. All are created to produce
better performance, improve productivity, lower costs and
boost threading efficiency.

Acme Threads - Landis®' Acme Thread program comes in
four flavors: General Purpose, Centralizing, "Stub" Acme, and
Modified "Stub" Acme to best suit your needs.
